How to create and sell an online course with Membree
Create modules and lessons, prepare your sales page, and configure an offer to sell your online course with Membree.
In your organization, open Products, select New product, and choose Online course. Add modules and lessons, prepare the sales page, and publish the course. To sell it, connect your payment account, create an offer, and share that offer’s checkout link.

Prepare your content and organization
Sign in with the account that manages your business and select the correct organization. Products lists the courses and e-books in that space.
Organize your materials into modules with a clear sequence. Give each lesson a title and description and, where useful, a video, thumbnail, and supporting files. A video is optional when creating a lesson; you can add it later.
Check Plan and billing before publishing. Permission to publish depends on your current plan. Your Membree subscription is separate from the account that receives your sales payments.
Create the course, organize lessons, and publish
- In Products, select New product, choose Online course, and enter the Product title and Description. Explain who should take the course and what it teaches.
- Review Details in the course editor. Check the language, category, cover, and Course page address you will share.
- Open Content or Editor, select Create module, and then Add lesson. Use titles to make the learning sequence easy to follow.
- Upload videos, thumbnails, and materials to lessons that need them. Wait for uploading and processing to finish before checking playback.
- Review the Sales page and its frequently asked questions. In Offers and coupons, create a price if you want to accept one-time payments through checkout.
- In Publishing, select Publish course. Once the offer and provider are ready, use Copy link to share the corresponding checkout.
Check the student experience
Open the sales page and check the title, description, cover, and offer. Make sure the shared address points to the correct course and that the description matches the content you deliver.
Use an authorized account to start the course, open lessons, and check materials. The team preview does not replace this check: some permissions, such as scheduled content release, differ for administrators.
To verify a complete payment, use a test or sandbox flow supported by the provider and configured for that purpose. Checkout with production credentials can create a real charge. Also review the order and access after payment confirmation.
Understand publishing, sales, and access
Publishing does not require an offer. You can make the course available to authorized people and use Grant access by email in Students when there is no checkout purchase.
Current offers are for one-time payments. Creating a course does not create a recurring subscription for students. Configure Access duration in the editor to match the access period you intend to provide.
If a video is still processing, wait for it to finish. If publishing requires a plan, review Plan and billing. If checkout does not show an expected payment method, check the provider connection before sharing the link.
Frequently asked questions
Can I publish a course without selling it through checkout?
Yes. An offer is optional, and access can be granted manually by email. The organization needs valid publishing access under its plan.
Do I need a video in every lesson?
No. When creating a lesson, you can add a video and thumbnail immediately or later. Organize each lesson around the materials you want to teach.
How does the buyer get access?
The purchase payment must be confirmed. Membree records the order and grants access to the corresponding product; check the email used and the configured access duration.
