Membree or Astron Members: compare plans and student experience

Compare Membree and Astron by billing, courses, community, and mobile access. See when each platform fits and what to test before choosing.

Membree serves people who want to organize courses, PDF e-books, offers, and students. Astron is worth evaluating when store-distributed apps, CRM pipelines, and integrations with other platforms are operational requirements.

Start with the experience you need to deliver

Membree brings together courses, PDF e-books, modules, lessons, and offers for one-time purchases. You track progress, configure certificates, maintain a private student community, and can use a custom domain and invited affiliates, subject to available features and limits.

Astron presents itself as a members area for acquisition, content delivery, and student retention. Its site documents communities, certificates, CRM pipelines, and connections to sales and payment platforms. The Academy, Instagram account, and listed apps belong to the same Astron ecosystem; the Academy offers content about the platform and building digital businesses.

Compare monthly fees, student activity, and processing

On October 5, 2026, Astron listed the plans below. An active member is someone who logged in during the last 30 days. The page states a monthly fee by tier; the displayed amount per lead should not be treated as a linear per-student charge.

The trial allows 10 active members, three courses, and 20 lessons; after seven days, it costs R$5 per month. Astron says it does not charge a sales fee. Its terms provide for a minimum charge and automatic plan changes when limits are exceeded.

Membree has a catalog of monthly and annual subscriptions. Check the pricing page for current amounts and limits. When evaluating either platform, separate platform costs from gateway processing fees: the absence of a platform sales fee does not mean payments are free to process.

  • Starter: R$147 per month for up to 200 active members.
  • Professional: R$297 per month for up to 500 active members.
  • Scale: R$587 per month for up to 1,000 active members.

A PWA and an app in a store provide different experiences

Membree offers a PWA: the experience runs in the browser and can be installed through it on compatible devices. That installation is not equivalent to an app published in the App Store or Google Play. Test access, playback, and installation on the phones your students use.

Astron publishes iOS and Android apps in their respective stores for accessing lessons. Its features page states availability from the Professional plan. If downloading an app from a store is essential to your offer, include that requirement and the necessary plan in your comparison.

When Astron may fit your project better

The choice depends on your course requirements and the operation you already use. Astron documents specific features that may warrant evaluation. Confirm inclusion in the plan and complete your full workflow before subscribing.

  • You require a student app distributed in iOS and Android app stores.
  • Your team needs to organize contacts in CRM pipelines.
  • You already sell through another platform and need to validate content delivery integration.
  • DRM protection is a contractual requirement: check the feature, its conditions, and behavior on the devices used.

Test a purchase and student journey before deciding

Prepare a short course with a video, material, and certificate, plus an offer representing your actual sale. Compare the work required to publish and for a student to find the content. Use the same experience on both platforms to decide based on evidence.

  • Check limits, subscription frequency, gateway fees, and conditions for plan changes.
  • Validate payment, confirmation, and access release with a test transaction available through your gateway.
  • Open lessons on a computer and phone; check progress, materials, and the configured certificate.
  • Test the community and custom domain if they are part of your delivery.
  • Before migrating, confirm export, import, and permissions. Astron documents CSV student imports; validate the format and a small sample.
